About 300 GPS systems have been installed on TD's service truck fleet and 250 handheld units are utilized by TD technicians in the field already. | |
| Harold says the HVAC, plumbing and piping company's niche is lifecycle customers (where the firm builds a project and never leaves). Recently, the Crescent (pictured here) needed its chiller replaced and using 3D BIM (that's Building Information Modeling, for those who still think 3D is only for Shrek), TD was able to get the work done over a weekend, meaning the buidling didn't have to shut down during business hours. TD pre-fabricated the pieces and staged them in the parking garage to git‘er done in 36 hours. | |
| Harold (in the prefab manufacturing facility) tells us one of TDIndustries higher profile projects, Cowboys Stadium, earned it the Distinguished Building Award from TEXO, the largest commercial contractors association in Texas. Other recent projects: Forest Park Medical, Medical City's expansion and the Blue Cross Blue Shield HQ. Harold likes to golf and fish. A spring break excursion recently took him to the Florida Keys to hunt mackerel and jacks. |
