Circle University City at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, sold for $40M. Texas-based American Campus Communities acquired the 546-bed complex at 9010 University City Blvd and will rename it University Crossings Charlotte, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.
This is ACC's third property in Charlotte. The company also owns The Edge Charlotte and University Walk Charlotte. Across the US, it owns 201 properties. [CBJ]
