Three ATL-Filmed TV Show Pilots A Go For Series

Three of the four TV show pilots filmed this season in Atlanta have been given a green light. That includes CW's Cordon (here), a show about a deadly epidemic that breaks out in Atlanta, leaving those stranded inside a quarantined city to fight for their lives, and starring David Gyasi, Christina Moses and Chris Wood, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The publication tracked 89 TV pilots for the upcoming season, and which ones made it to a series order and which died. Of those, four were filmed in AtlantaCordon, ABC's The Kingmakers and Quantico, and NBC's Game of Silence. The only series that got "passed over" was The Kingmakers. Whether that means it will continue to film in Atlanta remains to be seen. [HR]
