Host Hotels & Resorts just extended its ground lease for the Atlanta Marriott Suites Midtown by another 30 years, which means it now has rights to the site through 2104, according to documents filed with the SEC. The deal gives Host the “flexibility with respect to lease provisions that govern the brand, operator and sublease provisions of the asset in return for a small increase in minimum rent,” the company states. Maybe by the time the lease expires, we'll finally have our hoverboards.
