Acquisitions: It's Contagious

Newport Beach-based Buchanan Partners is also in an acquisition mode, looking on behalf of institutional and private investors. Those kinds of investors, EVP Bob Dougherty tells us, are seeking acquisitions in major Western cities, including multifamily, industrial, and office that are or can be repositioned to be institutional grade, with value-add returns. Recently the company, in a JV with LA-based Lowe Enterprises, bought Parkridge 4, a 192.8k SF office building in Lone Tree, Colo., for a reported $34M.
