Wells Wins the Gold

Wells Real Estate Investment Trust II is no doubt proud that another of its buildings has snagged a LEED Gold cert, the second highest designation. This one is for 2500 Windy Ridge Parkway in the Wildwood development in the Northwest submarket. Coca-Cola Enterprises and Merrill Lynch are among the tenants. Wells has partnered with the tenants to enhance the building's recycling programs and also has replaced aging equipment with more environmentally friendly systems. This is Wells? seventh building to earn the designation.
