Transwestern’s Sweet Spot

Transwestern Atlanta has added 1M SF of assignments  over the past three months, in part because of its strategy to focus more on mid-rise suburban properties and less on sexy urban buildings. That brings Tranwestern Atlanta's total management and leasing portfolio to 17.5M SF. New assignments include leasing of Century Springs East and West, above, and leasing and management of Marietta Medical Center and Roswell Business Center. Veep Kristie Abney tells us "While we still do Class A projects in urban markets, we've found we're really able to add value when it comes to mid-rise suburban properties that have been somewhat under-marketed." To flex its marketing muscle on such properties, Transwestern creates high-end collateral materials and has a dedicated cold-caller reaching out to tenant prospects for each building.
