Gov. Perdue (fourth from right, if you're not an eagle) arrived in Gainesville by helicopter Friday to help break ground on a new plant to produce wind energy transmission systems. Pattillo Construction is building the 250k SF facility in the new Gainesville Business Park. Z.F., a German company, has committed to a $90 million total investment in the facility and expects to generate 200 new jobs. Z.F. plans to move in by year?s end. |
