Dick's Sports Duke Realty Expansion

Duke Realty just hit a home run with a sporting goods retailer. Duke has inked a deal with Dick's Sporting Goods to develop a 257k SF build-to-suit at Camp Creek Business Center in East Point. This is on top of Dicks signing a 657k SF renewal at its facility already there at 3909 North Commerce Dr. The deal means the fast-growing sports equipment retailer will have nearly 1M SF at the 2.6M SF industrial park. (So none of us has an excuse not to have a new baseball glove.) “This expansion continues the momentum at Camp Creek Business Center, where Fed-Ex will open a new build-to-suit distribution center later this year and Kuehne + Nagel recently established its Southeast US headquarters,” says Duke's SVP Chris Brown.
