Neil Patrick Harris is what's known in theater as a triple threat: He can sing, dance and act. But he's officially adding a fourth threat to his arsenal: retail pioneer.

Harris signed a 20-year lease for the three-story, 13k SF former Providence club at 311 West 57th St along Midtown Manhattan’s Billionaire’s Row.

Working in collaboration with the event producers behind Queen of the Night, Sleep No More and The Box, the How I Met Your Mother star is planning to curate a magic-themed interactive theater, eatery and lounge nightclub, the New York Post reports. Producer Randy Weiner told the New York Times the venue will feature “dance, variety acts and one-on-one interactions.”

Picken Real Estate broker Alex Picken confirmed the lease, which will exceed $22M over the two-decade term, and announced the venue will be opening this fall.

The space once was a recording studio for the Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. [NYP]
