One Liberty Plaza In Lower Manhattan

Economy news website Business Insider is moving its headquarters to within a stone's throw from the World Trade Center.

Currently headquartered at 150 Fifth Ave. in the Flatiron District, Business Insider will be taking 88K SF at One Liberty Plaza in Lower Manhattan. The 2.3M SF One Liberty Plaza is owned by Brookfield Property Partners, which leased the space to Business Insider at $53 per SF, The Real Deal reports.

Two years ago, when it was acquired by German publisher Axel Springer, Business Insider was valued at $442M. It will be occupying the entire eighth and ninth floors of One Liberty Plaza when it moves. JLL represented Business Insider for the lease, and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank assisted Brookfield's brokerage team.
