42-Story Mixed-Use Tower Coming To Lower Manhattan

Placeholder

The Roe Corp has filed plans with the city to build a 42-story tower at 265 Broadway in the Civic Center area of Lower Manhattan.

The plans call for a 510-foot-tall tower with an 80-room hotel topped by 30 condos that would average over 2,400 SF apiece, NY Yimby reports.

The Roe Corp has owned the land, now home to a five-story office building, since 1967. A timetable for construction is hard to pinpoint as no demolition permit has yet been filed with the city.

Based on the current oversupply conditions in the condo and hotel markets, it might be a while before the project begins construction. [NYY]
