Brooklyn Brewery may add to its footprint at its Williamsburg HQ instead of moving to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Days after a deal fell through that would have brought it to 75k SF in the Navy Yard, the brewery’s co-founder, Steve Hindy, told Crain’s the brewer is considering adding additional floors for offices at its space at North 11th Street and Wythe Avenue.

Current leases are set to expire in 2025, but Hindy said the landlords have agreed to extend the brewey’s tenancy past that time so it can keep operating in the neighborhood in which it was founded.

Atlas Capital went under contract over the summer to acquire the 29k SF building at 61-71 Wythe Ave for $37.4M.

The brewer will vacate a warehouse across the street from its main space in 2025, most likely moving those operations to Bushwick. [Crain’s]
