Retail Unveiled for Coney Island's Neptune/Sixth

Feast your eyes on 626 Sheepshead Bay Rd, the retail portion of Neptune/Sixth, where Coney Island's future tallest tower is being erected.

Developer Cammeby's plans to replace a two-story strip mall with 109k SF of retail and community facilities in a four-story building. This will include 27,873 SF of commercial space and 81,319 SF of community facilities.

The project is being designed by S9 Architecture and Engineering, an arm of Perkins Eastman. It includes factory-style windows and a shared roof terrace on the second floor.

Construction is expected to begin early next year. Trump Village businesses will be allowed to move into the building, as well as the retail portion of 532 Neptune, when they're complete in the spring of 2017. [NYY]
