Social Tables Moves Out Of 1776

Check out Social Tables' new digs. The event planning software startup has moved on up from its home at DC-based startup campus 1776 to a new 5,000 SF space at 700 6th St. Social Tables was one of the first firms to take space at 1776, and is now the first to head out on its own. The guys who brokered the deal--JLL's Andy O'Brien and Alex Lassar--told our DC Real Estate Bisnow reporter that it's a short-term deal in order to give Social Tables flexibility in case it grows. (It's the elastic waistband of leases.) Andy says the East End location is a likely landing spot for other growing tech firms looking for a new home, since, simply put, "it has the coolest space."
