Integral Pursuing Sweet Auburn Student Housing

Integral Group is pushing forward on plans for a student housing project in the Sweet Auburn district. The company has filed construction permits with the City of Atlanta for an $8.9M multifamily development at 159 Auburn Ave, next to the old Atlanta Daily World facility. Plans call for 94-units of apartments with 4,000 SF of retail, all geared toward a college crowd. (The sandal market is about to explode!) Not that it could be just for students, says Integral's Valerie Edwards. “But because it's next to the Georgia State housing, we figured it will be leased by students,” she says.
