Cushman & Wakefield’s latest acquisition in its recent hiring spree is Glenn Isaacson, who’d been with CBRE for nearly 25 years.

Glenn was an EVP at CBRE, and started his new role as vice chair at C&W today, the Commercial Observer reports. Above: Glenn with C&W's Barry Zeller

“Glenn represents the type of leader Cushman & Wakefield aims to attract, one that goes the extra mile for his clients,” Ron Lo Russo, the president of C&W’s New York tri-state region, said in a statement. “He fits nicely with our deep bench of brokerage professionals here in New York City."

In his nearly 30 years as a broker, Glenn has leased about 11M SF of commercial space, and some of his previous tenants include Avenues School, YES Network and The Boston Consulting Group.

Ever since C&W’s $2B merger with DTZ last year, the firm has been on the prowl for top talent at other brokerages. Last summer it hired tech tenant specialist Sean Black from JLL (who subsequently left for WeWork), and in January C&W hired Mark Weiss, formerly of NGKF.

Mark was given this year’s Most Ingenious Deal Award by REBNY for the $226M sale of a development plot to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Hunter College he arranged. [CO]
