There are rumblings the Clippers may be looking for a new arena.

Clippers owner Steve Ballmer is reportedly scoping around LA for new digs for the team, possibly on the Westside.

The basketball team is a tenant at Staples Center, along with the NHL's LA Kings and the Lakers.

The Clippers have a lease agreement to stay at Staples Center through June 2024, and any potential move is not expected to happen until the Clippers' current lease expires, according to ESPN. The Clippers get a smaller share of the proceeds from club seats and suites than either the Kings or the Lakers.

If the Clippers do build a new stadium, it also may build a practice facility. The team doesn't own its current practice facility. [ESPN]
