Glendale Boulevard may soon get a new five-story multifamily development.

UB 2468 Glendale LLC is proposing tearing down the buildings at 2468 Glendale to make way for the project near Whole Foods 365.

It would consist of 50 apartments with 30 one-bedrooms and 20 studios with five of the units for low-income residents, Curbed Los Angeles reports.

There will be a community room and underground parking for 45 vehicles.

The neighborhood group Smart Growth for Silverlake has concerns about the size of the building and its possible impact on parking.

While the planning commission was originally scheduled to discuss the plans at its meeting April 20, the developer is now requesting an extension.
