Six-Story Residential Mixed-Use Project Underway in Koreatown

Placeholder

A six-story, 79-unit mixed-used project is rising at 940 S Western Ave in LA’s Koreatown. Developed by 950 Western LLC, the project is replacing a strip mall at the intersection of South Western and San Marino Street.

The designer, Grace Partnership Inc, says the design was inspired by Han Ok (traditional Korean architecture), with curvature of the roof and staggering elevation and colorful play of units diagonally across the facade, reports Urbanize LA.

The project includes street-level retail and three levels of underground parking. [ULA
