High Price in NoHo

More signs of recovery: Hendricks-Berkadia's Robin Ossenbeck and Adrienne Barr just sold the 236-unit Marquee Apartments in North Hollywood for nearly $28M. Adrienne tells us this was the highest price/SF ($203) paid for a rent control community in NoHo since the downturn, on sales of $5M and above. The dynamic duo were the only brokers in the deal; San Diego-based MG Properties Group bought the property from Marquee Apartments. Located on four and a half acres, the complex has undergone major renovations since being built in 1965, including unit interiors and copper replumbing, plus construction of a leasing center and fitness center. (If you mix up the two centers, be prepared to sign leases on treadmills.)
