Frette To Open New Boutique In Mayfair

Frette, the Italian maker of exquisite bed linens used by Claridge’s and the Orient Express, opened a new London store on South Audley Street.

Its £2,050 Aspen throw can be found in Harrods, but until now, the company has never had a dedicated shop in Britain.

The new Mayfair flagship will occupy 10k SF over two floors and feature seasonal and classic collections of bed linens, bath linens, home décor and nightwear.

Designers Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci of Dimore Studio arranged the space to look like a chic Milanese apartment with domestic touches through the store, according to Wallpaper.

The designers created bespoke fittings to display the linen collections including shelving and sliding panels, as well as made-to-order furniture and lighting. [Wallpaper]
