Dubai-based Damac handed its £200M contract to Lendlease to build its Aykon London One tower at Nine Elms on the South Bank, part of the wider multibillion-pound regeneration scheme of Battersea Power station as well as the location of the new US embassy. The 50-story building will be one of the capital’s tallest when complete, and will be one of the most prestigious addresses. Designed by architect Kohn Pedersen Fox, the interiors have been created in partnership with Versace Home.

Two projects will comprise two interlocking trophy towers that feature 450 units, 90 which will be set aside as affordable homes. The 50-story north tower will contain 360 luxury units that start at nearly £1M; the south tower will house the affordable units, with four stories of offices on top.

Other amenities include a children’s play area, an indoor swimming pool, a gym, a lounge, hospitality services and nearly 10k SF of communal gardens.

Construction will be completed in 2020.
