Asian investors have not bought into opportunistic value in London this year.

Build-to-rent properties are rapidly becoming one of the UK’s hottest asset classes. There are now 251,208 build-to-rent homes in the UK, with more than 72,000 under construction and more than 113,000 in planning. On top of that, nearly £900M was deployed to forward-fund build-to-rent developments in Q4 2022 alone.

From a 47-storey build-to-rent tower at Broad Street in Birmingham to more than 100 new build-to-rent homes coming to Heygate estate near Elephant and Castle, BTR schemes are on the rise in the UK.

Learn about the latest developments in the pipeline, how developers are securing BTR financing in difficult economic times, how to deliver resident value and more at Bisnow’s Build-To-Rent Annual Conference 2023. This two-day event will take place at the Hilton London Wembley from June 14-15. Register here for the event.
