Placeholder

Baby Boomers have senior housing, well, booming. Iowa-based developer LCS Development plans to ride the wave by developing two Houston-area communities. The Delaney at Parkway Lakes, near Katy, and The Delaney at South Shores Harbor in League City, are both expected to deliver in 2017, according to the Houston Business Journal.

The facility near Katy will be constructed by Austin-based White Construction and was designed by PRDG. The development at 21700 Bellaire Blvd will be 214k SF, containing 207 units. The League City location will sit on 11 acres at 2551 Marina Bay, and will also contain 207 units but comes in at 204k SF. Each facility costs around $30M to build. [HBJ]
