Torchy's 50th Location Sets Opening Date In Spring

Torchy's is set to open its 50th store, at 5156 Spring Stuebner Road at the Market at Springwoods Village in Spring. Torchy’s will open its doors to the public at 7 a.m. on Oct. 10. The first 50 customers will receive a free T-shirt and five people will be selected at random to win free tacos for one year.

Torchy’s Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer. Today, it operates over 50 locations throughout Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma, serving up "damn good tacos." Founded in Austin, this will be the chain's seventh Houston-area location.
