A one-stop shop for men's grooming and fashion is on its way to EaDo. Sorek Barbershop & Menswear, slated to open this March, will offer a unique mix of traditional high-end barbering, high-end retail products and custom fit suits by Texas-based Soto & Co., known for outfitting notable Houstonians like Deshaun Watson.

At 2106 Dallas St., the space was designed by Texas-based Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, known for its work on Heights Mercantile and the forthcoming Market at Houston Heights.

The shop will be based in East Village, Ancorian's redevelopment project in the rapidly gentrifying EaDo arts and entertainment district.

"I am extremely proud that I can open my first concept in the heart of this amazing city — especially in a place like East Village, which really caters to artists and creatives like my Sorek team," Sorek founder and owner Jason Gourd said.
