With Opening of New Street, Read King Kicks Off Development

Officials cut the ribbon on West Bellfort Road yesterday morning, spurring Read King to break ground on Waterview Town Center. (It's the circle of life.) The road runs straight through the 134-acre site at the northwest corner of the Grand Parkway and Grand Mission, which is being developed with retail, restaurants, medical, office and multifamily. There's a lot happening both within Waterview Town Square and around it. The Garrett Cos purchased 11 acres in the development and is under construction on the Echelon, a 256-unit multifamily community. Across the Grand Parkway, Johnson Development is building Harvest Green, a master-planned community with over 2,000 homes. Next door is Aliana, a successful existing master-planned community.
