HFF closed the sale of DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Downtown, a 350-room, full-service hotel in the mixed-use Allen Center. Brookfield Property acquired and will update the hotel attached to the west side of One Allen Center, a Brookfield development undergoing its own $48.5M renovation. The Doubletree, featuring 18k SF of meeting space, was built in 1981 and last renovated in 2009.
With Heritage Plaza on its other side, the hotel is surrounded by almost 4.4M SF of Class-A office.
The HFF investment sales team repping the seller was led by managing director John Bourret, associate director Austin Brooks, managing director Colby Mueck and senior managing director and head of HFF’s hotel group Daniel Peek.
