Siobhan Kelly is an Associate Director and currently leads the Office of Multifamily Analytics and Policy at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). The office serves as the focal point for the development and implementation of mission-related multifamily policy, research and financial analysis. Siobhan has over 15 years of multifamily experience and oversees the business activities of both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Previously, Siobhan served as the Multifamily Credit Risk Officer at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In this role she served as a senior advisor on multifamily finance and policy issues affecting FHA, and was responsible for managing and measuring risk issues related to the MAP lending program. Prior to her time at HUD, Siobhan worked in multifamily at Freddie Mac, both on the front end of the business and in asset management. Siobhan holds a B.A. from The Catholic University of America and an M.B.A. from Marymount University. She was also selected as an Excellence in Government (EIG) fellow through the leadership program at the Partnership for Public Service.

Dana Wade, Chief Production Officer of the FHA Finance team, is based out of Walker & Dunlop’s headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. Ms. Wade is responsible for the oversight of the production team for Walker & Dunlop’s multifamily lending through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Ms. Wade will also be responsible for helping drive the company's affordable housing financing activities. Ms. Wade previously served as the Commissioner of the Federal Housing Administration, which financed a total of over 11,000 rental properties and 3,000 mortgages for residential care facilities and hospitals during FY 2020. In her role at the FHA, she was responsible for carrying out the agency's mission of providing affordable housing for moderate and low-income households, implementing enhanced risk management for FHA's $1.4 trillion portfolio, and leading over 2,400 employees. Prior to joining the FHA, Wade served as Associate Director at the Office of Management and Budget, where she led budget oversight for six Executive Branch agencies with a focus on financial services, including HUD and multiple independent agencies. Ms. Wade also held senior roles in Congress, including Deputy Staff Director for the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and Deputy Staff Director for the Senate Committee on Appropriations. Dana graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor's degree in economics and earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Matt became Chief Investment Officer in January 2015. He is responsible for AvalonBay’s investment strategy and oversees the Investments, Design, Sustainability/Corporate Responsibility and Market Research functions. Before assuming his current position, he was Executive Vice President—Corporate Strategy, a position he held from October 2011 until January 2015. Prior to joining AvalonBay in October 2011, Matt was the founding principal of Abbey Road Property Group, LLC, a multi-family development and investment firm based in Arlington, Virginia since 2006 and before that a Senior Vice President at EYA (formerly Eakin/Youngentob Associates). Prior to joining EYA in 2003, he was a Regional Vice President of Development with the Company. Matt received his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and his Masters Degree from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated with honors. He is an active member of ULI and is certified LEED AP, serves on the Board of the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH), and is a member of the Federal City Council.

Jason Fudin is the CEO and Co-Founder of Placemakr (formerly WhyHotel), based in Washington D.C. Placemakr is a venture-backed platform that operates at the intersection of hospitality and multifamily real estate. With its pop-up hotels, it operates furnished, transient stays out of the vacancy of newly built luxury apartments during the lease-up phase. With its hospitality living buildings, it operates assets as a mix of multifamily and hospitality on a permanent basis with the ability to flex the inventory between both uses. Prior to Placemakr, Jason was the VP of Strategic Initiatives at Vornado Realty Trust where he worked on developing innovative commercial real estate concepts for the organization. Over his career, Jason has managed commercial real estate development projects valued at over $2 billion and has worked in real estate development, acquisitions, and capital markets. He has his B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Management from McGill University and his M.S. in Finance and Real Estate from American University.

Melissa Lee, CTP is the Senior Vice President of Capital and Investments at The Menkiti Group where she is responsible for structuring and growing the capital, investment, and fund management activities of the organization. Melissa brings over two decades of finance experience with expertise in investment management and treasury management across multiple industries. Melissa has delivered a range of finance activities at organizations that include Amtrak, Pepco Holdings, Inc., and Chevy Chase Bank (acquired by Capital One in 2009). Previously, Melissa oversaw a $2+ billion real estate portfolio at the Maryland State Retirement & Pension System with the responsibility for advancing the asset class strategy through the deployment of capital into domestic and global private real estate funds. Formerly, Melissa served as the Director of Treasury Operations at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), where she executed the organization’s cash, debt, and investment strategy. In addition, she served as a Trustee on several of WMATA’s Retirement Plans. Most recently, Melissa served as the Founder and Managing Principal of Lee Squared Consulting Group, LLC where she developed financial strategies for community development organizations. Melissa holds an MBA from George Washington University, a BBA in Finance from the University of the District of Columbia, and the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation from the Association for Financial Professionals.

Jason Gerstein is the founding principal of both LGA Capital CRE, an SEC registered FINRA member private placement broker dealer, as well as LGA Capital Advisors. Jason actively leads the companies’ business development and investment strategies. For more than 20 years and prior to the founding of LGA Capital in 2010, Jason worked in multifamily development for developers, lenders, and investors. Jason is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance from The Kogod School of Business at American University and a Master of Law (LLM) in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center. Jason is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and is a member of the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court.

Michael Vu is a Principal and sits on the Investment Committee of Artemis Real Estate Partners. Mr. Vu is responsible for developing and implementing the acquisition and asset management activities of Artemis. Mr. Vu joined as a founding member of Artemis in 2010, has been involved in over $1.9 billion in new investments, and is based in metropolitan Washington, DC. Previously, Mr. Vu was an associate at The Carlyle Group, where he served in the Transactions Group within U.S. Real Estate. Mr. Vu was focused on property and portfolio acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across all major property types. Prior to The Carlyle Group, Mr. Vu was an analyst at Lazard Frères & Co. where he focused on mergers and acquisitions within the U.S. Real Estate group in New York. Mr. Vu earned a bachelor's degree in Politics and Finance from Princeton University, graduating magna cum laude. Mr. Vu was awarded the Lyman H. Atwater Prize for the top thesis within the Politics department. Mr. Vu is the Vice Chair on the board of the Maya Angelou Public Charter School in Washington, D.C., which focuses on providing a second chance to high schoolers and young adults to put them back on track towards a high school diploma or equivalent credential and a path for a productive post-secondary career. Mr. Vu is also an active council member with the Urban Land Institute.

Matt Ferrari is the Co-Chief Investment Officer and Head of Acquisitions at TruAmerica Multifamily. Based in Miami, Florida Mr. Ferrari heads the firm’s acquisitions team and also oversees operations and asset management across their Eastern and Central United States portfolio of over 17,000 apartments. Mr. Ferrari also is a member of TruAmerica’s Investment Committee. Since joining the firm in 2016, Matt has played a meaningful role in the firm’s growth, having overseen the acquisition of over 38,000 apartments totaling $8.0 billion throughout the U.S., including TruAmerica’s expansion into the Eastern U.S. multifamily markets while also helping grow its stable of investors. Previously, Mr. Ferrari was an Investments Director at AvalonBay Communities Inc., an S&P 500 publicly traded multifamily REIT where he was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. During his four years at AvalonBay, Mr. Ferrari was responsible for $500 million in acquisitions and $1.3 billion in dispositions. Prior to his time at AvalonBay, Mr. Ferrari worked for Archstone Communities Inc. in their leadership and development rotational program as a Management Development Associate before becoming a Regional Operations Director for their Eastside Manhattan portfolio in New York City. Mr. Ferrari holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a B.S. in Management and Business from Skidmore College. He is also a member of the Steering Committee at Georgetown University’s Steers Center for Global Real Estate.

Nikita is responsible for the U. S. Cities Multifamily Strategy. Prior to joining Nuveen Real Estate, Nikita was a senior vice president at FCP, where she most recently led portfolio management, fundraising and investor relations for their series of value-add multifamily funds and core-plus multifamily separate account. During her time at FCP, she was also responsible for asset management, developing and implementing FCP’s proprietary asset management system and led their development management group. Nikita has focused on multifamily asset management and development at FCP and The Carlyle Group. She started her career as a senior auditor at KPMG LLP in its financial services group. Nikita graduated with a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University. She is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association, the Urban Land Institute and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Flanagan is President of Elm Street Development. He oversees development opportunities for Elm Street Development. He is also a partner in the Craftmark Group, homebuilding companies, and Legend Management, a real estate management company. He is on the Executive Committee for the Urban Land Institute-Washington, is past President for the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association and is past Chairman of the Smart Growth Alliance. Prior to joining Elm Street Development in 1978, Flanagan graduated from Georgia Tech and received an MBA from the University of North Carolina.

Andy VanHorn has over 24 years of experience in all aspects of real estate investment, development, and innovation—and oversees all aspects of the company’s strategy and its growth, alongside the Dweck family. This includes highly innovative financing and capitalization efforts and creation of strategic partnerships that drive growth opportunities. Dweck Properties owns 7,000 multifamily residences plus mixed-use retail in key submarkets in the Washington Metro area. They are one of the largest apartment owners in National Landing, home to Amazon’s HQ2. Since joining Dweck, Andy has established a 1,500 unit development pipeline on existing Dweck properties and a Construction Management company which has completed $100MM in work in its initial three year of operations. Andy also recently co-founded Two Rivers Investments and raised Confluence Fund I, a general partners investment fund established to purchase value-add multi-family properties in the larger DC metro region. Prior to joining Dweck Properties, Andy was an Executive Vice President responsible for entitlement, community and governmental activities associated with JBG SMITH’s portfolio in National Landing, including the pursuit and ultimate planning efforts related to Amazon’s HQ and the associated infrastructure improvements. He led coordination of Virginia state investments and priorities in National Landing, and oversaw formation of the Virginia Tech partnership and the Innovation District around the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus. He also led a development team that worked on over 11MM square feet of multifamily, retail and office projects in Arlington County, the City of Alexandria, Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD. The project activities included land acquisition, entitlement efforts, design, permitting, negotiating construction contracts, leasing, financing and joint venturing. He is very active on public and private committees and boards, and serves as Executive Committee Member of the National Landing BID Board, and is a Board Member of the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing. He also serves on the GMU Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship Board, the Virginia and National Board for NAIOP and is a member of the Investments Management Forum with NAIOP. Prior to his role with JBG SMITH, Andy was a Principal with The JBG Companies. The JBG Companies merged with Vornado DC, and formed JBG Smith, the largest publicly traded REIT in the Washington Metro region. Andy also worked in real estate private equity with Buvermo Properties, and for Charles E. Smith and Clark Construction. B.S. in Civil Engineering, Lehigh University; M.B.A., McDonough School of Business - Georgetown University.

Nihar serves as a Partner in Transwestern Development Company’s Washington office, overseeing the Mid-Atlantic region. He is responsible for the financial health and execution of development projects, sourcing new deals, and structuring capital. Nihar has sourced over $800 million of product in the region in addition to leading the development, management of sales and leasing operations and the dispositions of more than 3.8 million square feet of real estate across mixed-use, hospitality, multifamily, condominium and townhome product types valued at over $1.5 billion across 15 different projects and delivering over 2,300 units of housing in the area. Nihar started his foray into the industry by working in project management for general contractors, where he managed the construction of data centers, government facilities and mixed-use apartment communities. He is a United States Air Force veteran and separated as a Captain after serving in Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Nihar earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

Sean Stadler, FAIA, LEED AP is a Design Principal and Managing Principal of WDG where he focuses on elevating the firm’s stature in design, with particular emphasis on enhancing the civic realm. He is directly responsible for leading the planning, re-zoning and design of complex, high-profile urban projects, bolstering WDG’s reputation for sustainable and distinctive, mid- and high-rise structures with contemporary urban sensitivity. Mr. Stadler’s diverse experience includes commercial, residential, hospitality, educational, and sporting facilities. He is a member of the AIA College of Fellows, and he has been honored with an AIA President’s Award for his service to the profession and was recognized as one of the “rising stars of the AEC industry” by Building Design + Construction Magazine in 2009. He is a recipient of the 2011 AIA Young Architects award where the jury noted that “he is a unique individual of outstanding talent and clear commitment.”

Since joining the Martin Architectural Group in 2007 Dan has focused his efforts on Multi-Family Residential and Mixed-Use projects. His responsibilities include: client representation, project proposals, conceptual designs, construction documentation, coordination and on-site construction administration. From concept meeting to project close out, Dan works directly with the client and the design team to integrate building design. He regularly attends industry events, is jointly responsible for business development and is an active public speaker. Prior to joining The Martin Architectural Group, Dan led a twelve-person team as a Studio Leader at Toll Brothers, primarily on residential and clubhouse projects. He is a graduate of Drexel University and a member of ULI, NCARB, NAHB, Delaware Green Building Council and ICSC. Two of Dan’s passions are supporting and more often than not, judging the “Build a House...Build a Dream" event for Habitat for Humanity and getting a team together and raising awareness and dollars for the “The Dude Hates Cancer” event.

Since early 2018 Priya Jayachandran has led National Housing Trust (NHT). NHT is committed to the preservation of home, opportunity, and dignity through affordable housing. In her role as CEO, Priya leads NHT’s engagement in public policy, lending and energy sustainability. Priya previously led Housing Development at Volunteers of America (VOA). In her role, she managed the strategic direction, acquisition, and development of rental housing for VOA. Priya served in the Obama Administration at the Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2014 until 2017, as Senior Policy Advisor, Director of the front office of Multifamily Housing, and ultimately as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Multifamily Housing Programs. Before joining HUD, Priya spent more than 15 years in community development real estate banking in New York and Washington, DC. She led client teams delivering debt and tax credit equity for affordable housing and charter schools during that time. Under Priya's leadership, the Mid-Atlantic market at both Citi and Bank of America were the top production offices in the country. Priya is a recognized industry expert on affordable finance deal structuring. Priya has also worked as a consultant to women’s microcredit organizations in La Paz, Bolivia; at Credit Suisse as an investment banking analyst; and at California State Treasurer Kathleen Brown as a Capital Fellow. Priya earned her B.A. from the University of California and her MPA from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.

Christopher E. Donald was appointed Interim Executive Director in January 2020. As Interim Executive Director he is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination and strategic direction of the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency. Mr. Donald joined the Agency in October 2016 as the Senior Vice President of Multifamily Lending and Neighborhood Investments. He served as part of DCHFA’s senior management team. His primary responsibility was to manage the day-to-day operations of the Multifamily Lending and Neighborhood Investments (formerly Public Finance) department and assist the Executive Director & CEO with the development of multifamily programs, products, polices and strategic planning.   Mr. Donald has over 15 years of experience in real estate finance, community building, development, land entitlement and construction.  He’s entitled over 1MM square feet of mixed income, transit oriented, amenity rich housing.   Mr. Donald specializes in acquisitions, entitlement, community visioning and deal structuring.  He has completed over $1 billion in real estate financing over the course of his career and renovated over 1,000 multifamily units and entitled and underwritten almost 3,500 multifamily units throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.   Mr. Donald has also acquired and programmed commercial space for small local businesses and retailers. As the Director of Development at the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing, Mr. Donald underwrote and structured $60MM in low-income housing tax credit transactions. Over the last several years he has provided underwriting services to the Office of State Superintendent for Education for the District of Columbia and financed over $300 million in improvements for public charter schools using New Markets Tax Credits, Tax Exempt Bonds and other tools. Mr. Donald began his career in finance at Lehman Brothers in the Municipal Finance Group and underwrote $200MM in revenue bonds for the District of Columbia. Prior to his tenure at DCHFA, Mr. Donald served as the Principal and Co-Founder of The Leidesdorff Group.   The Leidesdorff Group (TLG) is a diversified real estate advisory firm focused on the regeneration of urban communities within the Mid-Atlantic region.  As a principal of TLG, Mr. Donald focused on distressed and disinvested urban communities.   Mr. Donald is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Board of Directors of the African American Real Estate Professionals of DC (AAREP-DC) and the Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers (HAND). He is a graduate of Stanford University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Pam Askew has over 28 years of experience in affordable housing and finance. As Senior Vice President of Development, Ms. Askew manages all aspects of the development process, including leveraging and securing project financing and coordinating a diverse team of specialists, consultants, investors, stakeholders and public officials.

Drew Hubbard was appointed Interim Director of the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) on October 1, 2021 by Mayor Muriel Bowser. He’s held several leadership positions within DHCD, including as Deputy Director and Chief Administrative Officer, where he oversaw human resources, contracting and procurement, and stewardship of the agency’s budget. Drew has over a decade of experience in the legislative and executive branches of the District of Columbia. His experience includes many years on staff at the Council of the District of Columbia, where he served as a Legislative Director and Committee Director with a primary focus on affordable housing, workforce development and re-entry policy. He also served as the Federal Relations-Policy Analyst for the Office of Policy and Legislative Affairs within the Executive Office of the Mayor. Immediately prior to coming to DHCD, Mr. Hubbard served as an Associate Director for the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES). At DOES, he was responsible for senior management, strategic planning, and cross-program coordination of the Office of Apprenticeship Information and Training, the First Source Program, and the Business Services Group. In that role, he was responsible for executing the realignment of employer-facing programs and identify resources to establish an easily accessible menu of value-added business services aimed at engaging companies in order to cultivate placement opportunities for other agency units and programs servicing District resident employment needs. Mr. Hubbard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Morehouse College and a Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University Law School. Mr. Hubbard is a resident of the Woodridge neighborhood in Ward 5, where he resides with his wife and 2 children.

Joseph LeMense is the managing director of community development & nonprofit banking at United Bank, the largest headquartered community bank in Greater Washington. With over 40 years of experience, LeMense guides the Bank’s nonprofit business development and lending initiatives throughout the Bank’s markets in eight states and the District. He focuses on providing personalized financial solutions to mission-based organizations involved in community development, affordable housing, education, social services and trade associations. LeMense joined United Bank in 2004, most recently serving as a senior vice president of commercial banking. In this role, he developed and managed long-term lending relationships, primarily in the nonprofit, biotech and government contracting industries. LeMense’s areas of expertise include tax exempt bond finance, tax increment finance, Property Assessed Clean Energy (“PACE”) financing and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (“LIHTC”) and New Market Tax Credit (“NMTC”) financing. A fifth-generation Washingtonian and fourth-generation graduate of Georgetown University, LeMense is a board member of the Jubilee Housing Advisory Board and a former mayoral appointee to the D.C. Public Charter School Credit Enhancement Fund Committee. He is an active volunteer and advisor with the Georgetown University Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. as well as a guest lecturer at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. A 2015 graduate of Leadership Montgomery, Joe was also a charter member and past president of the Metro Bethesda Rotary Club.

Amy M. Glassman represents public housing authorities, developers, nonprofits, and other recipients of HUD funds in regulatory, administrative, transactional, and related matters. Amy has extensive experience with HUD regulatory and statutory compliance issues. She works closely with housing authorities on applications for and implementation of HUD's Moving to Work (MTW) program, including negotiation of MTW agreements and development and implementation of MTW policies and programs. She assists clients on matters such as federal procurement requirements, relationships with public housing affiliates and instrumentalities, uses of program income, the Uniform Relocation Act (URA), and tenant-based and project-based housing choice vouchers. She also advises clients on litigation or potential litigation matters including those involving lead-based paint and other hazardous materials. Amy advises clients on fair housing, accessibility, and disability issues related to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Fair Housing Act, including policy development and fair housing investigations. She also defends clients in HUD debarment actions and Office of Inspector General audits and investigations. Amy's transactional practice includes extensive work with public housing authorities on portfolio repositioning strategies and implementation, including mixed-finance redevelopment projects, HUD demolition and disposition applications, and conversions to Section 8 using various methods, including disposition, voluntary conversion, HUD's Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. She also advises clients on a variety of HUD multifamily housing matters involving project-based rental assistance, including HAP contract transfers and assignments. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Amy worked as an affordable housing consultant at the Cambridge Housing Authority and at TAG Associates.

Edson is a strong believer in the IoT Evolution within PropTech and has sat on the board for the National Apartment Association as well as multiple Apartment Associations across the country.

Kevin Sheehan is senior managing director of real estate for the Greystar Northeast region, which includes offices in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston. In his role, Kevin oversees property management operations, third-party business development, and client relationships. He also assists the company’s investment and development platforms in expanding throughout the region. Kevin’s expertise includes managing portfolios and teams across wide geographic areas, as well as managing various asset types, including high-rise, garden, urban, suburban, lease-up, and renovation. Prior to joining Greystar in 2010, Kevin served as president of management operations at Bainbridge, an East Coast multifamily development and investment firm operating from Florida through the Mid-Atlantic. Before his Bainbridge role, he was a senior vice president with Bozzuto, where he oversaw a portfolio of class A assets in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and New Jersey. Kevin started his multifamily career managing apartment communities at Oakwood Worldwide, progressively working his way up in the organization to positions of higher responsibility.

As President of KETTLER, Cindy Fisher leads the strategic direction of the organization, with Operations, Multifamily Development & Construction, Investments, IT, Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing reporting directly to her. Cindy has been with KETTLER for over 4 years, most notably transforming the company into a vertical integration model. Cindy brings with her over 20 years of Multifamily Real Estate Experience. Before joining KETTLER, Ms. Fisher was Vice President of Financial Operations at The Pew Charitable Trusts. She also worked at The Washington Post, United Way of America, Freddie Mac, and Gates Hudson and Associates; and is a proud alum of Gannon University in Erie, PA.

Steve offers extensive marketing experience within the multifamily real estate industry, including branding & marketing, sales, training, reputation management, and business development strategies and execution. He has been a part of the Gates Hudson executive team for over seven years. His extensive experience in acquisition, development, management and leasing has provided him a unique and strategic handle overseeing marketing and business initiatives for the portfolio of over 20,000 apartment units across properties in Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia. Prior to joining Gates Hudson, Steve led marketing efforts for Greystar in the Northeast Region of the United States. Additional experience includes: Vice President of Marketing and Training for Mission Residential, Digital & Traditional Marketing for AvalonBay Communities and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington, DC.

Andrew McGeorge joined Hines in 2020. He is a Senior Managing Director and head of multifamily activity out of the Washington DC Office. He is responsible for sourcing, acquisition, capitalization and executing multifamily developments transactions in the mid-Atlantic region. The $100M project is a joint venture with NY Common. Led the acquisition, and development of 564 multi-family rental units in Charleston, South Carolina. The project consisted of 24 multi-family buildings valued at $84M. Led the acquisition, development and leasing of 580 multi-family rental units in Williston, North Dakota. The projects consisted of 16 multi-family buildings, valued at $105M and is a joint venture with The Carlyle Group. Led the rezoning and design of a 916,000 square-foot mixed use project “1401 Wilson” in Arlington, VA. The project consisted of a 514,000 square foot, 29-story, LEED platinum trophy office tower, 350,000 square foot (302 units), 32-story LEED silver luxury residential tower and 52,000 grocery anchored retail. The project, valued at $493M, is a joint venture with Goldman Sachs. Led the rezoning and development effort for “1812 North Moore” a 580,000 square-foot, 35-story, LEED Platinum trophy office building in Arlington, Va. The $330M project was s a joint venture with Goldman Sachs and the first LEED Core and Shell Platinum office building in the state of Virginia. 1812 North Moore currently serves as Nestle USA’s headquarters.

As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Bainbridge Companies, Mr. Schechter has been in real estate development since 1976. A third generation multifamily and commercial property owner, manager and developer, Mr. Schechter’s family has been in the business since 1927. Mr. Schechter developed his first mixed-use office and retail project in 1976 and his first mid-rise apartment project in 1978. Since starting Bainbridge in 1993, Richard has been involved in the supervision, acquisition, development and management of $5 billion in multifamily rental housing, including over 29,000 multifamily units. He formerly served as chief operating officer of R.M.S Partners, a developer, owner and manager of office buildings and apartment rental communities in Florida and Washington D.C., and as president of Bainbridge Financial Corporation, an investment, asset and property management advisory group based in Washington D.C. In addition to his expertise in commercial and multifamily ownership, acquisition, management and development, Mr. Schechter has extensive experience structuring large scale real estate financing, including REIT programs. Mr. Schechter holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Clarkson University and a Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University College of Law.

Jim has served as President and CEO of Jefferson Apartment Group (JAG) since establishing the company is 2009. Jim is responsible for corporate strategy, including all operations and investment decisions. He leads the Executive and Investment Committees, as well as JAG’s Advisory Board. Jim is an industry veteran with over thirty-two years of experience in real estate development focused on multifamily communities. Prior to forming Jefferson Apartment Group, he was President and Managing Partner at JPI East. Additionally, Jim serves on the Executive Committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Multifamily Leadership Board. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), as well as a variety of local real estate and charitable organizations. A graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BA in Business Administration, Finance and Economics, Jim is married and has three children.

John Begert has 22 years of experience in the multi-family industry and pursues multi-family residential and mixed-use acquisition and development opportunities for MRP Realty. Prior to joining the firm in early 2011, Mr. Begert worked for JPI Mid Atlantic for over ten years and oversaw the acquisition, entitlement, development and construction of over 2,000 residential units valued at over $450 million in the Mid Atlantic region. Mr. Begert has multi-family acquisition and development experience across a variety of product types and jurisdictions in the Mid Atlantic region. Mr. Begert has developed high-rise, mid- rise, and urban-wrap rental products as well as mixed-use urban condominium product in Washington, DC.

Johnny Moseley is recognized as one of the most accomplished multi-family renovation contractors in the region. Benjamin Kasdan, AIA, is a Principal and Design Leader at KTGY in Tysons, VA near Washington, DC. He is a frequent speaker and published writer about the value of design, mentorship, advocacy, sustainable architecture, resilience, student housing, multifamily housing, and mixed-use communities. He has held leadership positions with the American Institute of Architecture Students at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, AIA Orange County, AIA California, and AIA National including serving as the 2019 President of AIA California. He is the chair of the KTGY 2030 Committee, an interoffice committee leading the national sustainability efforts as a part of KTGY being a signatory of the AIA 2030 Commitment. Some of his notable projects include Gables Point 14,AVA NoMa, Anthem House, AVA H Street, The Maxwell, Crystal Flats, Fenton Apartments, and Plaza Verde Student Housing.

Felicite Moorman is an attorney turned multi-exit technology entrepreneur. She’s received EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award and has earned an international reputation as a go-to IoT industry expert, developing pioneering strategic partnerships and unprecedented technology strategies and initiatives for the Internet of Things. Moorman is the CoFounder of STRATIS, a RealPage Company, and SaaS Platform for large-scale Internet of Things installations. STRATIS was named a top ten “Best Company in America” by Entrepreneur Magazine and ranked in the top twenty percent of Inc Magazine’s “Fastest Growing Companies” three consecutive years prior to acquisition. Moorman was simultaneously CEO of BuLogics, which designed, built, and certified hardware, software, and ecosystems for the Internet of Things. Moorman is an international speaker and columnist, and has been featured as a thought leader in dozens of mass media outlets and publications including: U.S. News & World Report, Fast Company, Inc Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Yahoo! Today the GE lighting line is a part of nearly every home automation and security platform offered in the United States. Early in her career, Moorman led a team that became the most sought after marketing and management partnership in Baltimore real estate. She expanded the companies to include nationwide finance, brokerage, legal, and insurance offerings. Moorman oversaw $1.5 billion dollars of transactions in less than five years, including property acquisition management for the $500 million dollar expansion of Rutgers University.
