Robin has more than 30 years’ experience of structuring and raising equity, mezzanine and debt capital for funds and direct deals (assets/portfolios/projects) across the globe. He joined M&G Real Estate in April 2023 as a member of the Executive Committee reporting to the Global Head of Real Estate. He is responsible capital raising, business development and investor relations for M&G’s real estate funds, joint ventures and separate account mandates globally including both debt and equity strategies. Prior to joining M&G, Robin spent 5 years at Schroders as the Head of Real Estate Capital Formation, performing a similar role, which also included product development of new funds dedicated to operational real estate strategies such as hotels, senior living and social housing. He previously held senior roles at CBRE as well as several investment banks including 7 years at Rothschild. Robin holds a BA from the University of Birmingham and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

Nick joined GPE in July 2011 as Finance Director, and is now Chief Financial & Operating Officer. Previously, Partner and Head of Real Estate Corporate Finance Advisory at Deloitte, which followed ten years of real estate investment banking experience in Europe and Asia with Nomura, Lehman Brothers and UBS Investment Bank. External commitments: Member of the Reporting and Accounting Committee of EPRA and Trustee of the Outward Bound Trust.

Stacy Eden

Stacy Eden is Head of Real Estate at RSM. He is an experienced audit partner and advises a wide variety of real estate clients. Stacy has significant experience of working with real estate companies and partnerships with assets up to £2bn, assisting clients on the commercial, transactions and taxation aspects of real estate.

Prior to joining RSM, Stacy led a property and construction team for over 10 years in his previous role. He is also an ICAEW fellow (FCA).

Stacy speaks at a variety of real estate seminars and conferences and writes regularly in the trade press. He also attends a number of key real estate events including MIPIM and is a member of the Variety Props lunch committee, a member of the British Property Federation technical accounting group and a member of the ICAEW real estate and construction advisory group.

Stacy has also been a founder and governor of a free school as well as assisted charities in helping vulnerable children.

Brett Ormrod

Net Zero Carbon Lead, Europe

Brett Ormrod is the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Lead for Europe and is responsible for providing technical guidance to the European business in the development and delivery of asset-level NZC pathways. He is leading the roll-out of NZC audits by a select panel of NZC consultants across £20billion of direct real estate, which will establish existing performance and provide a detailed set of asset-specific energy conservation measures.

Prior to joining LaSalle, Brett was a Sustainability Manager within Lendlease’s Urban Regeneration team, where he was responsible for developing strategies for projects and business units to achieve the company’s ambitious sustainability targets. He also spent nine years at the renowned architectural firm, Foster + Partners, embedding sustainable design into projects for clients such as Apple and Bloomberg.

Brett is Chartered Engineer through the Chartered Institute for Building Service Engineers (CIBSE). He graduated from the University of Cape Town with Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and holds a Masters in Philosophy in Sustainable Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
