Colorado Construction Unemployment Rate Second-Lowest In Nation

Placeholder

Colorado has the distinction of having the second-lowest statewide construction unemployment rate in the country in February, dropping to 4.9%. A year ago, the rate was 7.5%, reports the Denver Business Journal, citing Associated Builders and Contractors data.

Only Georgia had a lower rate this February, coming at 4.8%. Thus Colorado's building boom continues, despite its partial dependence on the energy industry. [DBJ]
