Placeholder

Forest Park Frisco is under new ownership to help those under the weather. Irving-based HCA has officially reopened the center as Medical City Frisco. The hospital filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last September and was sold to HCA for $96M. The facility will operate as a campus of The Medical Center of Plano and will continue to offer uninterrupted care, reports the Dallas Business Journal.

Along with 54 beds and 12 operating suites, Medical City Frisco has a 24/7 emergency room, a blood bank, a fully accredited lab and a full imaging department. Additional services, including cardiovascular treatment, will be added on by HCA in the future. [DBJ]
