Go Big Or Go Home: A Look At Some Of DFW's Luxury Apartments

Whether it is smart technologies, innovative apps or ornate interiors, the discerning taste of luxury apartment dwellers remains the driving force behind a slew of multifamily buildings coming out of the ground in Dallas-Fort Worth.

With more long-term renters valuing amenities over price point, the incentive remains for DFW developers to unleash luxury apartments designed to fit the lives of affluent professionals. 

In advance of the Bisnow Multifamily Annual Conference in Dallas April 23, we took a look at some of the luxury apartments going up across DFW today.

The Cooper in Fort Worth 

Fort Worth is on a mission to become the next power hub for emerging and relocating companies. 

With more professionals expected to land in Fort Worth in the future, Dallas-based Lang Partners plans to open The Cooper, a $65M luxury apartment building at 1001 West Rosedale St.

Construction firm KWA topped out the building last week and expects it to open in the fall. 

The development features a skybridge that allows for the free flow of tenant traffic inside and outside the building. 

Rents run from $1,200 to $4K a month, with tenants gaining access to poolside cabanas, a yoga studio, a gourmet coffee bar, ample coworking stations and private conference rooms.

The Cadence at Frisco Station 

Slated to open in 2021, The Cadence at Frisco Station is a 322-unit luxury apartment community created by Hillwood Multifamily

The development sits in the heart of Frisco Station, which already has one apartment dwelling, the Station House, nearing full occupancy. 

JHP Architecture/Urban Design designed The Cadence, incorporating spacious open-island kitchens, designer plumbing and lighting fixtures as well as 10-foot ceilings. 

The site also offers next-generation tech solutions that allow tenants to control their locks, thermostats and lighting fixtures through an app.

High-speed wireless technology that anticipates the emergence of 5G technology also is incorporated into the building's public areas to offer best-in-class connectivity.

Twelve Cowboys Way

Twelve Cowboys Way 

For sports and luxury lovers comes Twelve Cowboys Way, the posh 17-story residential tower created through a joint venture of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Roger Staubach and developer Robert Shaw

The luxury tower designed by O'Brien Architects overlooks the 91-acre campus that is home to the Dallas Cowboys World headquarters and The Star in Frisco

Rents at the 158 units start at $2,700 month, a price that comes with apartments featuring wine refrigerators, smartphone-controlled thermostats and access to food and maid services provided by the nearby Omni Frisco Hotel.  

Residents also enjoy membership to the Cowboys Club and receive access to watch certain Cowboys practices at The Star.

AMLI Fountain Place 

AMLI Fountain Place, slated to open in May, is the tallest multifamily tower in the Dallas Arts District, with 45-luxury filled floors.  

Designed with a glass-infused modern exterior that complements the old Fountain Place office tower next door, AMLI Fountain Place overlooks cascading fountains and lush greenery created by landscape architect Dan Kiley for the original Fountain Place site. 

The building, which is adorned with art throughout, features a level 45 Sky Lounge with views of the city, a private off-leash pet park overlooking Downtown Dallas, a resident lounge and an easily accessible bar at the nearby Fountain Place. 

For fitness and sports lovers, the building also comes with an open-air yoga deck and a golf simulator station.
