We snapped Skiles Group EVP Dwayne Hodges not quite able to hold back a smile. Perhaps it’s because he’s mastered the art of repeat business: Skiles has been working for Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest Fort Worth for 18 years, the most recent project a $34M tower. Of course, that grin could be for something else entirely: thinking of another weekend of cruising around Lake Lewisville on his 41-foot Sea Ray Sundancer.

In business for more than 35 years across Texas, New Mexico and even Wyoming, Dallas-based Skiles  focuses 90% of its workload on healthcare-related projects (hospitals, surgical centers, medical center renovations and additions). Private schools and churches make up the remainder; and like the millions of 20-somethings dodging their future, higher education is on Skiles’ to-do list.
