Jollibee Foods Corp. posted its best quarter on record to close 2025 as the company prepares for U.S. expansion this year and a separation of its international business in 2027.

The fast-food chain with Filipino roots saw systemwide sales surge 12% to about $2.1B in Q4, with full-year sales up 16.6%, according to InsiderPH. International same-store sales growth reached 5.5% in the fourth quarter, with Jollibee North America rising 12.6%.

Jollibee North America crossed $500M in systemwide sales, with average daily sales of about $15K per store. Jollibee is preparing to split the business into two companies: one for the Philippines and the other for the rest of the world. Reuters reported in January that a U.S. stock exchange listing is likely in late 2027.

Backed by its strong international performance, Jollibee is targeting U.S. expansion in 2026. This includes the Chicago area, as the company wants to expand near its existing locations and in the surrounding suburbs, Peter Wright, Jollibee vice president of franchising, told the Chicago Business Journal

“Chicago is one of our high-priority markets for Midwest growth in 2026,” Wright told the outlet.

Wright told CBJ the company targets neighborhoods that offer a natural fit for its cuisine and sites that offer strong business opportunities regardless of format. Suburban Jollibee sites usually feature drive-thrus in freestanding buildings, and urban locations are frequently in strip centers.

The company usually leases sites, rather than buying them, Wright told the outlet.

The chain entered the Chicago market in 2016 and operates four corporate-owned locations in the area. Jollibee has 107 locations in North America, including 78 in the U.S. and the rest in Canada. It aims to have 500 locations across North America by 2030.
