Interior construction of Sterling Bay's new headquarters at Fulton West started this week, and the firm has an aggressive timetable for completion.

Skender is the general contractor for the 35K SF build-out. The firm is working with Perkins+Will and WMA Consulting Engineers on the project, which is expected to be completed by the end of May. Sterling Bay will occupy the eighth floor and the new office will feature a mix of open office workstation areas, private offices, conference rooms, a reception area, a commercial kitchen and a café.

Skender was Sterling Bay's first tenant at Fulton West, signing a 13-year lease in December 2015 and moving in last September. Other tenants in Fulton West include Glassdoor and farming technology firm Climate Corp. The build-out coincides with Sterling Bay's decision to put its current headquarters at 1040 West Randolph on the market.
