When the University of Chicago sold 697 apartments to Pioneer Acquisitions last October, who knew it would be a sign of things to come? U of C is back in disposition mode. The school is placing another 13 properties on the market, including, for the first time, some of its retail holdings.

Those retail assets are in prime locations on East 57th Street close to campus and are home to restaurants like Medici, Z&H Marketcafe and Packed, which U of C convinced to call Hyde Park home last year. The university is also placing another 387 apartments on the market, DNA Info reports.

U of C sold its previous multifamily offering for $70.1M and intends to dispose of all but 13 buildings housing students, staff and faculty when all is said and done. [DNA]
