Hillwood to Develop 39 Acres in Romeoville

Dallas-based Hillwood is planting more roots in the Chicago area. Yesterday, the company announced the purchase of 39 acres at Pinnacle Park in Romeoville, which it intends to develop into Romeoville Commerce Center. The project will include four Class-A buildings totaling over 638k SF. Two buildings will measure 200k SF each with rear load design and 32-foot clear height. The truck courts will be 185 feet deep with up to 45 dock doors, 62 trailer parking stalls and space for 62 cars. Each building can be configured for up to four tenants, accommodating a wide variety of uses and tenants. Hillwood opened an office in Rosemont earlier this year.
