| By the time we arrived at Leopardo's friends and clients part at the ROOF Bar at the Wit last Wednesday, everyone was so engrossed in convo that they didn't "Cheese!" for Bisnow's camera. Leopardo's Steve Smith and Rick DuPraw (left) were probably chatting about their recent win of more than 500k SF of new construction downtown, which includes space for Target and DSW Shoe Warehouse at the Sullivan Center. Also on the to-do list: 60k SF for the Legal Assistance Foundation and 25k SF for Leo Burnett. | |

| Alyssa, Alissa, to-may-to, to-mah-to. Ariel Investments' Alyssa VanEvery and Circle Realty Advisors' Alissa Helgesen saved us some captioning headaches by holding up their nametags. Circle Realty Advisors just helped out Aries Capital in closing a $31.1M CMBS loan for a six-property, 1.4M SF portfolio in Wisconsin and Illinois. The loan was securitized and sold as part of a $700M loan portfolio in June. We'll raise a glass to the return of CMBS! |
