|The International Facility Management Association's Chicago chapter met this week at the UPS' Chicago Area Consolidated Hub in the southwest suburbs to honor its outgoing board members. Somehow they let us in to snap this of Invista's Kim Murphy, the Schaumburg Park District's Doug Kettel, Cummins-Allison Corp's Gerald Zawislak, Walgreen Corporate's Bill Lewis, and Ragnar Benson Construction's Scott Solverson. The chapter also arranged tours for members of the 1.5M SF UPS facility, which can move 1.3M to 1.5M packages a day (and even more during the holidays). But the most impressive stat: the facility has 65 miles of conveyor belts.|
