Handler Buys Hyde Park Apartment

| Chicago multifamily investor Stuart Handler has purchased the Madison Park Apartments at 1380 Hyde Park Blvd. for $15M, with a $12.9M loan from Northern Trust Co. The 150-unit building in President Obama's neighborhood will get a facelift with a new facade, roof, and fitness center. The owner of TLC Management Co. and about 2,400 units along the lakefront, Stuart purchased the building from Ibrahim Shihadeh. |
