Greylyn Trades Again For $46M

Cleveland-based Weston Inc acquired one of Charlotte’s largest flex parks, Greylyn Business Park, from GID for $46M. JLL's Brad Cherry (right) says the park exceeded expectations when it was sold by the Levine family in 2008, "so we were confident that we'd meet or exceed expectations for this seller as well." Brad, along with colleagues Pete Pittroff and Spencer Yorke, repped the seller; JLL repped the Levine family in '08 as well.

According to Weston chairman TJ Asher, who handled the acquisition for the buyer, the unusual mix of warehouse, flex, office and retail spaces is what attracted his company to the property. JLL's Natalie Marshall and Spencer Yorke will continue as leasing agents, while Mimi Fisher and Jason Sierra of JLL will continue as the on-site property managers.
