Charlotte Continues to Attract Big Time Acquisition Capital

There's a lot of capital eager to do acquisition deals in Charlotte, HFF senior managing director Travis Anderson tells us. Recently he and colleague Adam Herrin repped the borrowers, Waitt Co and Childress Klein, in $20M of acquisition financing for a three-property, 178k SF Class-A office portfolio in Fort Mill: 580 Kingsley Park Dr, 481 Munn Rd and 234 Kingsley Park Dr. Travis says the lenders were interested for a number of reasons, including the property's long-term credit-tenant cash flow with a staggered lease expiration schedule, and its location in one of the most rapidly growing submarkets in the area, the 7,000-acre Clear Springs master-planned community.
