M1 M2 Gets Green Light

Placeholder

The Boston Redevelopment Authority recently gave the go-ahead to M1 M2, a mixed-use development of just over 1M SF being developed by Cottonwood Management, which will occupy 3.5 acres at Seaport and Pier Four boulevards.

The goal of M1 M2 is to enrich the fabric of the neighborhood with much-needed residential ownership opportunities along with public space for both residents and visitors, Cottonwood Management chairman Alex Shing tells us.

M1 M2 is one of the largest and final developments in Seaport Square, planned for the heart of the Seaport District. The project will include three towers consisting of about 900k SF of residential space along with 125k SF of retail space, all focused on a central courtyard. Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates created the exterior design and master plan for the project, and CBT Architects will be designing the residential space. WS Development will own the retail space.
