The pros who put developers and CRE projects in the spotlight had their turn to shine when the Society for Marketing Professional Services held its ROC Awards Thursday night at the Seaport World Trade Center. We snapped Rhino PR?s Jennifer Shelby and Susan Shelby with client Hobbs Brook Management's Trish Holland. Rhino PR?s Media Campaign won first in the Integrated Marketing Campaign category.

Reilly Communications? Mike Reilly celebrated with Gilbane Building Co's Karen Medeiros. Mike?s North Carolina-based client The Freelon Group is the lead design firm for the new $500M National Museum of African American History and Culture. The museum, owned by the Smithsonian Institution, will be built on the National Mall between 14th and 15th streets NW. It's slated to open in ?15. Karen tells us that Gilbane expects to complete the Genzyme plant in Framingham in July and has several elementary and high school projects on the docket (including a book report onJohnny Tremain). It's also CM for buildings on the new Exxon campus in Houston. She says corporate work is picking up, good news for them.
