Tim says that recent BioMed Realty leases range from AVEO’s 126k SF at 650 East Kendall St (where interior fit-out will start soon for occupancy to begin late this year) to many more deals for less than 20k SF. For instance, BioMed Realty’s Fresh Pond  Research Park has been fully leased to companies like Sun Catalytix, which will move into just under 18k SF. Tim says that BioMed Realty continues to see robust leasing in its 3M SF metro-area portfolio, which includes the 700k SF Center for Life Science in the LMA and nearly 2.3M SF in Cambridge. Of the seven markets where BioMed properties are concentrated, Tim says this area is the largest and most active.
