The Back Bay is a hard place to leave. Today's evidence: Money manager MFS Investment Management will lease 280k SF at 111 Huntington Ave. so it can stay in the neighborhood; it plans to relo from 500 Boylston St. early 2013.

We snapped McCall & Almy?s Bill McCall, who with David Richardson, Garrett Larivee and Charles Landry repped MFS. The move is into the tower at the Prudential Center owned by Boston Properties. MFS? Amrit Kanwal tells us Back Bay has been its home for more than 50 years. David Richardson says MFS won't experience the disruption of a big change in location and will have the added advantage of the amenities at the 3.2M SF Pru: 2.6M SF of offices, 620k SF of retail, an on-ramp to the Mass Pike traveled by so many executives, on-site MBTA stop, and a parking garage.
