Caves Valley Partners' plan to redevelop several properties on the 1800 and 1900 blocks of South Hanover Street in South Baltimore is moving forward, SouthBmore.com reports. The redevelopment includes a vacant warehouse at 1800 South Hanover St., which Caves Valley purchased for $4.5M, and a building that houses commercial truck repair company Middleton & Meads. The redevelopment could include apartments, townhomes, retail and a grocery store.

The residential and retail project is the latest South Baltimore project for Caves Valley. The developer is also planning the $275M Stadium Square development and the makeover of Cross Street Market. South Baltimore is also home to Sagamore Development's multibillion-dollar Port Covington development.
