What You Don't Know About SVN's Newest Austin Exec, Loree Misch

Loree Misch just set up a new commercial real estate office marking SVN's entrance to the Austin market. We quizzed her on the new business and more. Here are her answers.

What’s up with the new office/affiliation: I have extensive commercial real estate experience related to the financial market and evaluation of resorts, retail, recreation and outpatient clinics. In addition, real estate has played a central role in my investment fund. Once I decided to pursue real estate full-time, I evaluated firms and I was attracted to SVN because of its corporate services group, which consults with companies and municipalities to help optimize and reposition their real estate as well as to help create centers of innovation.

2016 Goal: To recruit like-minded people who share our core covenants, who appreciate our sales platform, who know the numbers and like to collaborate.

Market Insight: How corporations occupy space could be a game changer for landlords.

Bullish On: Austin and its economic growth.

Career Highlight: I have many; any time I can discover unrealized value for my clients, transform, turn around or reposition an asset I'm happy. Having said that, the time I worked with Roger Rabbit and Eeyore hosting families of Desert Storm soldiers.

Family: Son, Jack

Favorite Food: Crab cakes and dark chocolate

Hobby: Meditation, stand-up paddle board, hiking, anything outdoors, and any activity with my son.
